What is the shipping cost for a 500 piece shawl order?

Freight is quoted against packed volume, and shawls are bulky so volume weight drives the mode

What is the shipping cost for a 500 piece shawl order?

We cannot give a freight figure without the packed volume, because shawls are bulky and carriers charge on volume weight rather than actual weight. Send the shawl size, the pack format and the destination port or address, and we will quote freight against the measured carton dimensions.

Why volume drives it - a 500 piece shawl order occupies far more space than the same piece count in twillies or bandanas. Once the cartons are measured, the volumetric weight usually exceeds the actual weight, and that is what the carrier bills on.

Mode choice - express is the fastest and most expensive per kilo, air freight sits in the middle, and sea freight is the cheapest per cubic metre but the slowest. For a bulky order, sea freight is normally the economic choice unless the delivery window is tight.

What we need to quote - shawl dimensions, retail or bulk packing, total carton count and dimensions, destination, and your required arrival date. We confirm the exact freight at order stage.
