What GSM are your winter scarves?

We do not publish one GSM figure for the winter range, because weight varies by design, yarn and size, and is specified per order.

GSM means grams per square metre and is the clearest way to describe how heavy a woven scarf feels. It maps directly to warmth: a light scarf is a fashion accessory worn indoors or in mild weather, while a heavier one is genuine winter insulation.

For reference, momme is the silk equivalent, where 1 momme equals 4.34 g/m2. Wool, cashmere and blends are quoted in GSM instead.

If warmth is the priority, tell us the target weight and the finished dimensions and we will match the yarn and weave to it. If the look matters more than the weight, we can work from the design and confirm the resulting weight at sample stage.

The exact figure for your specification is confirmed on the sample, before bulk production.
