How many winter scarves fit in a 40ft container?
Winter scarves cube out before they weigh out, so exact loading is confirmed at order stage

The number of winter scarves that fit in a 40ft container depends on the scarf dimensions, packing method and whether they are folded or rolled. Because winter scarves are bulky, they typically cube out before they weigh out, meaning the container fills by volume rather than weight.
To calculate the loading, you need the carton dimensions and the number of scarves per carton. A 40ft container has an internal volume of approximately 67 cubic metres. If each carton measures, for example, 60x40x40 cm, that is 0.096 cubic metres per carton. Dividing the container volume by the carton volume gives the maximum number of cartons, and multiplying by the scarves per carton gives the total.
However, this is a theoretical maximum. Actual loading is affected by palletisation, stacking efficiency and weight limits. For heavy cashmere scarves, you may reach the weight limit before filling the volume. The exact figure is confirmed at the order stage once the packing details are finalised.
