How do I work out the landed cost of imported scarves?

Landed cost is the total cost of getting the goods to your door. The formula is: goods cost + freight + duty + clearance + inland delivery.

Goods cost - the wholesale price per piece multiplied by the quantity. Our pricing is tiered and steps down at 100, 500 and 1,000 pieces from a 20-piece start.

Freight - express 3-7 days, air freight 7-12 days, or sea freight 25-40 days. The cost depends on weight, volume and mode, and is confirmed at order stage.

Duty - scarves and shawls fall under HS code 6214. The duty rate depends on your country and any trade agreement. We do not publish duty percentages; check with your customs broker.

Clearance - customs brokerage, entry fees and any inspection charges. These vary by country and broker.

Inland delivery - from the port or airport to your warehouse.

Add these to the goods cost to get the landed cost per piece. Commercial invoice and packing list are supplied with every shipment to support clearance.
