Can you make a shawl with a printed border only?
Yes, a border-only layout is set from the same screen or digital file as an all-over print

Yes. A border-only print is a standard layout and is set from the same artwork file as an all-over design, with the printed area confined to the edge.
Ink use - a border uses less ink and less print time than an all-over coverage, so it can cost less at the same size, particularly on screen print runs.
Registration - on a large shawl the border must sit square to the cut edge, so the registration allowance is set at the sample stage. This is the main technical point to confirm before bulk.
Layout options - a plain centre with a printed border, a printed border on two ends of a long scarf, or a border plus a small corner motif.
Minimums - the same 20 pieces per colour per design applies, and custom digital print runs from 20-100 pieces per design.
