Can you make a headband with an elastic or wire insert?
Yes, we can fit elastic or wire inserts into headbands, with construction affecting minimums and lead times

Yes, we can produce headbands with an elastic or wire insert. The construction differs from a simple tied scarf: the fabric is cut to a narrower width, folded and stitched into a tube, and the insert is threaded or enclosed before the ends are closed.
Elastic insert - a covered elastic band gives a stretch fit that holds without tying. It suits pre-tied headbands and is the more common option for retail packs.
Wire insert - a malleable wire allows the wearer to shape the band, often used for twisted or knotted styles. The wire must be fully enclosed and secured so it cannot protrude.
Both constructions start from the same 20-piece per colour per design minimum as our other accessories. The insert itself is a component we source to your specification; if you require a particular elastic tension or wire gauge, state this at enquiry so we can confirm availability.
Lead time follows our standard accessory schedule: 7-10 days for a custom sample, then 7-14 days for bulk production after sample approval. Adding an insert does not usually extend this, provided the component is confirmed at sample stage.
