How to read cashmere blends, grades and weight before you order.

Not all cashmere is equal — the percentage, fibre length and ply decide warmth, softness and price. Here is how to read a cashmere scarf like a buyer.
"100% cashmere" means pure cashmere; "30% cashmere / 70% wool" is a blend. Higher cashmere content is softer and warmer, but more expensive and more delicate. Blends hit lower price points for volume winter ranges.
Longer cashmere fibres pill less and feel smoother. Two-ply is denser and more durable than single-ply. Ask the fibre length and ply when the scarf is a premium product.
Weight (grams per square metre) is the honest measure of warmth. A light 60 g scarf is a fashion piece; a 150 g+ scarf is serious winter.
We stock cashmere and wool-blend winter scarves from a 20-piece minimum, labelled by composition so you can position them honestly. Tell us your target price and we will recommend the blend that hits it.
