What is your dye-lot tolerance between a sample and a bulk order?
Natural-fibre dye lots vary slightly, so bulk is approved against the signed sample

We do not publish a fixed dye-lot tolerance, because colour variation between a sample and bulk is inherent to dyeing natural fibres and the acceptable range is agreed with you rather than imposed. Silk and cashmere take dye differently from lot to lot, and a large run may span more than one dye lot.
The working method is that the approved sample becomes the reference. When bulk is ready, you approve the production against that sample, and any shade difference is judged against it. If a run has to be split across lots, we keep the split within a single order so the pieces you receive are as close to each other as possible.
Sample approval - the signed sample is the colour reference for the order.
Bulk approval - you review the bulk against the sample before shipment.
If it is outside range - tell us before shipment and we will discuss re-dyeing or re-cutting the affected pieces.
Where colour is critical, such as a matched set or a repeat order, say so at enquiry stage. We will confirm the exact tolerance for your fabric and shade at sample stage, when the dyeing route is fixed.
