How many silk scarves fit in a 20ft container?
Container loading depends on carton size and fabric weight, so the exact count is confirmed at order stage

The number of silk scarves that fit in a 20ft container depends on the carton dimensions, the packing method and the fabric weight of the scarves. We do not publish a fixed piece count because these variables change with each order.
To calculate the loading, you need three figures: the number of scarves per carton, the carton dimensions, and the total carton volume. Light printed silk at 8-12 momme packs more compactly than heavier 19-22 momme satin, so a container filled with lightweight scarves will hold more pieces than one filled with heavy twill.
Pieces per carton - depends on the scarf size and how it is folded. A 90x90 cm square takes more space than a 53x53 cm bandana.
Carton dimensions - we use standard export cartons, but the exact size is confirmed when the order is packed.
Fabric weight - lighter fabrics compress more, so more pieces fit per carton.
Because these factors vary, we confirm the exact container loading at order stage, once the scarf size, fabric and packing method are fixed. For a precise estimate, tell us the design, size and quantity you have in mind and we will calculate the carton count and container fill for you.
