How do you fold and pack a shawl for retail?
Shawls are folded to a retail-ready size with tissue and board, which increases packed volume

Shawls are folded to a retail-ready size, interleaved with tissue and supported with a board, then bagged or boxed to your specification. Because a shawl runs from 100x200 cm upward, the fold plan is agreed before production so the finished pack fits your shelf or e-commerce box.
Folding - the shawl is folded to a consistent rectangle, typically to suit an A4 or similar retail footprint. Fold lines are set so the pattern or border sits on the face of the pack.
Tissue and board - acid-free tissue between folds reduces creasing, and a board insert keeps the pack flat and rigid. A hangtag or belly band can be added if you supply artwork.
Box sizing - if you want a rigid box, send the internal dimensions and we will pack to fit. Boxes are quoted separately from the shawl.
Freight effect - retail packing adds air and board, so carton volume rises and the chargeable weight with it. Bulk flat packing is denser and cheaper to ship; retail packing costs more in freight but arrives shelf-ready.
