What is the difference between a 90x90 and a 110x110 silk scarf?
The 110x110 cm square uses more fabric and gives a fuller drape, while 90x90 remains the most versatile

The main differences between a 90x90 cm and a 110x110 cm silk scarf are the amount of fabric, the drape, and how it is worn. The 90x90 cm square is our most stocked and most versatile size, while the 110x110 cm is a larger format that uses more silk and therefore costs more.
Fabric consumption - a 110x110 cm square uses approximately 50% more silk than a 90x90 cm square, so the material cost is higher. This is reflected in the wholesale price.
Drape - the larger size gives a fuller, more dramatic drape. It can be worn as a shawl over the shoulders or wrapped multiple times around the neck.
Wearing style - the 90x90 cm is ideal for a classic neck knot, head covering or bag accessory. The 110x110 cm suits a statement look, often worn loose or as a light wrap.
Market preference - some markets favour the larger size for its versatility as a shawl, while others prefer the 90x90 cm for everyday wear. Both are available in our standard range.
Custom sizes are cut to spec from the standard minimum of 20 pieces per colour per design.
