Woven Tartan, Not Printed Check

A plaid scarf in the classic 180x30 cm size carries a tartan check woven through its full length. Because the pattern comes from the weave itself, the lines stay sharp and the check sits in the fabric rather than resting on the surface. We make it in wool or an acrylic blend: wool keeps the scarf warm and gives a better hand, while the acrylic blend brings the cost down for volume programmes.

Setts can be matched to a real tartan or invented around your own colours. Every plaid we finish is handled in-house, from the cloth to the final packing.
