What the factory does

Mulberry silk greige finished to the stated momme, printed (printed silk scarf) or plain, cut and hemmed by hand or machine, and finished with your woven label and gift box. For Japan the common lines are 90×90 cm silk twill, silk satin, silk chiffon, and silk twillies and silk bandanas.

Why Japanese buyers use the factory directly

A small premium order — a few hundred silk scarves in your own colourway — is hard to get from a Japanese wholesaler but normal from the factory. Buying silk scarves directly means your print, your label and a low minimum, with a colour question answered at the source.

Quality and export

Our silk uses OEKO-TEX Standard 100 certified fabric, with SGS reports on request; every silk scarf is checked against an agreed AQL. Documents are prepared for every shipment to Japan, and orders usually go by express for small volumes.
