How do you keep the print centred on a narrow twilly?
Centring on a narrow twilly is set at layout and approved on the physical proof

Centring is controlled at the layout stage and then approved on a physical proof before bulk printing.
Layout - the artwork is positioned against the cut line, not the greige edge. On a narrow twilly the repeat is cut differently from a square: the design is set as a continuous band so the motif stays centred along the full 86-120 cm length.
Registration - the print is aligned to the same cut line on every panel, so the motif sits centrally once the strip is cut and hemmed. This is checked on the first off the line.
Proof - we send a printed sample of the actual twilly for your approval. You check the centring in the hand, knotted and flat, and confirm or ask for an adjustment before bulk production starts. Sample cost is credited against the bulk order.
