Cashmere vs merino wool — which is better?

Cashmere is the soft, fine undercoat of cashmere goats — exceptionally warm for its weight and very soft, but more delicate. Merino wool is the fine wool of merino sheep — warm, resilient, non-itchy, and more durable and affordable. Neither is strictly better; they serve different tiers.

Choose cashmere for a luxury winter line and gifting; choose merino and wool blends for volume winter ranges that must withstand daily wear. We stock both in our winter scarf range, from a 20-piece minimum. Compare all the materials before you order.
